滌淪絲繡花線顧名思義在電腦繡花機上使用的線，擁有比真絲便宜的價格與真絲不相上下的品質。滌淪絲繡花線可以抵受化學物質及經常洗滌，減少衣物退色及脫色現像，所以工作服、牛仔衣物、運動服等都會用滌綸絲繡花線。相對而言，滌綸絲較人造絲堅韌。當進行刺繡時，機器在高速運轉，韌度高的滌綸線也可以承受較大的拉力；而且其防火性極高，即使衣物接近火焰，也不易觸火

Polyester embroidery thread, as the name implies, is used on embroidery machines. It has a cheaper price than real silk and a quality comparable to real silk. Polyester embroidery thread can withstand chemicals and frequent washing to reduce fading and discoloration of clothes. Therefore, polyester embroidery thread is used for work clothes, denim clothing, and sportswear.
In contrast, polyester thread is tougher than rayon. When embroidering, the machine is running at high speed, and the high-tenacity polyester thread can withstand greater tension; and its fire resistance is extremely high, even if the clothing is close to the flame, it is not easy to touch the fire.
